The apartment building is designed on a small plot, where the limited footprint defined the fundamental logic of the project. Rather than maximizing the number of units, the concept focuses on an intimate scale and a strong sense of community. The aim was to create a shared home for a smaller group of residents and encourage a natural sense of belonging.
Despite its compact footprint, the building offers a variety of apartment types, including generous duplex units arranged across two levels. Their vertical organization is directly reflected in the articulation of the façades and the overall volume. Loggias, setbacks, and deep openings break down the compact mass, creating a sculptural composition defined by the contrast between light frames and darker recessed surfaces.
The result is a compact residential building that, despite the constraints of its site, offers spatial diversity, an individual character, and a more intimate alternative to conventional residential development.
