Located in Bratislava’s historic city centre, Vínimka Wine Bar explores the contrast between the building’s original vaulted architecture and contemporary interior interventions. A restrained palette of dark tones, clean geometric forms, and warm, carefully integrated lighting enhances the historic character of the space while establishing an intimate atmosphere.
Open shelving and a sculptural wine display integrate the presentation of wine into the architectural composition. Upholstered seating and subtle colour accents define distinct spatial zones, balancing the openness of the main bar with more intimate seating areas. A lightweight terrace structure extends the interior into the public realm, establishing a direct connection with the surrounding urban context.
The result is a contemporary hospitality interior that respects its historic setting while creating a distinctive spatial identity through material restraint, lighting, and carefully considered detailing.
